Douglas W. Gigler

Doug is a shareholder at Nilles Law Firm and a member of the Litigation Department and the Employment Law Group. He concentrates his practice on construction law and employment law. Doug has counseled and represented numerous employers in state and federal courts in Minnesota and North Dakota concerning a variety of employment-type claims such as discrimination (age, sex and race) and sexual harassment. He has both pursued and defended claims before the North Dakota Department of Labor. He has counseled employers on wage-and-hour issues and represented them through state and federal administrative audits of their wage-and-hour practices. Doug is a frequent speaker on employment law related issues. He received his undergraduate degree from Mayville State University and his law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. He is licensed to practice in North Dakota, Minnesota and the Federal Courts. He is a member of the North Dakota and Minnesota state bar association.

Doug is licensed to practice in the State Courts of North Dakota and Minnesota and the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota. He is also is a member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota and the Minnesota State Bar Association.
