Duane H. Ilvedson

Born June 17, 1940 in Minot, North Dakota

Duane is head of the Litigation and Insurance departments. He concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance law, insurance coverage, torts and personal injury law. Duane has extensive trial and appellate experience, and has presented at numerous Continuing Legal Education and insurance seminars.  Duane has been a mediator and arbitrator in many civil matters.

Duane received his law degree in 1966 from the University of Michigan after conducting undergraduate work at Jamestown College and George Washington University. Duane is past President of the Cass County Bar Association and the North Dakota Defense Lawyers Association. He is a of the American Bar Association's section of Tort and Insurance Practice.  He was a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute and the American Board of Trial Advocates for many years.
