
Ross A. Nilson

Ross joined the firm in 2010.
Ross grew up in Park River, North Dakota. In 2005, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in History with Honors from North Dakota State University. In 2008, Ross graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School with Honors. While in law school, Ross was a member of the International Moot Court and participated in advance legal research coursework. He also was a judicial extern for the St. Croix County Circuit Court in Hudson, Wisconsin.
After law school, Ross clerked for the Honorable Raymond L. Erickson, Chief Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and the Honorable Galen Vaa and Steven Cahill of the Seventh District Judicial District in Moorhead, Minnesota.
Ross practices with the Litigation and Insurance Departments and is licensed to practice in North Dakota, Minnesota and the United States District Courts of Minnesota and North Dakota. He is a member of the Fargo Rotary Club, the American Bar Association, the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and is the secretary of the Ronald N. Davies Inns of Court.
