
Ryan C. McCamy

Ryan practices with the Litigation and Insurance departments and is active in railroad litigation. Ryan has experience in commercial and residential construction and property disputes, including homeowners associations and covenant challenges. Ryan has also successfully represented clients in mining (MSHA) and work-related (OSHA) incidents and appeals. Ryan also provides counsel regarding adoptions and parental rights matters. Ryan is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators and has served as an instructor for IAAI Fire Seminars.
Ryan grew up in Lake Elmo, Minnesota and traces his family history to the Red River Valley. Ryan received his J.D., with distinction, from the University of North Dakota School of Law and his undergraduate degree with honors from North Dakota State University. During law school, Ryan was a Member of the North Dakota Law Review, a teaching assistant with the Legal Writing Program, and served as President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ryan was a teacher and coach in the Twin Cities area. Ryan currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Big Brother/Big Sister program and has been a “Big” for over two years mentoring youths in the community. He is also a Board member and Program Chair with the Lake Agassiz Kiwanis Club of Fargo. Ryan enjoys hunting different varieties of game, fishing and water sports at the lake, and snowmobiling.
Ryan joined the Firm in 2009.
